The short version

Secret Mission collects nothing. Stores everything on your device. Never connects to the internet. No accounts, no tracking, no ads, no analytics. What happens on your iPhone stays on your iPhone.

What data does Secret Mission collect?

None. Secret Mission does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information outside your device.

What about my child's information?

Agent profiles, codenames, mission history, photos, streaks, badges, and all other data you create in Secret Mission are stored only on your device using Apple's local storage system (SwiftData). This information never leaves your iPhone. We cannot see it. No one else can either.

Does Secret Mission use the internet?

No. Secret Mission is fully offline. It works identically in airplane mode. There are no servers, no cloud sync, no external services, no APIs, no analytics, no advertising networks, and no remote configuration.

Does Secret Mission track my child?

No. There is no tracking of any kind — no behavioral tracking, no location tracking, no device fingerprinting, no advertising identifiers. Apple's App Tracking Transparency is not relevant to Secret Mission because Secret Mission does not track.

What about photos attached to missions?

Photo evidence attached to completed missions is stored only on your device within the app's private storage. Photos are never uploaded, backed up to any service controlled by us, or shared with anyone. If you choose to export a mission dossier as a PDF, that PDF is created on your device and you choose where it goes — we have no visibility into this.

Does Secret Mission use Siri or the Siri Shortcuts?

Yes, optionally. If you enable Siri Shortcuts, voice requests like "Check agent status" are processed by Apple's Siri service according to Apple's own privacy policy. Secret Mission itself does not receive, store, or transmit voice data.

Does Secret Mission use any third-party services?

No. Secret Mission does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or data services. The only external services Secret Mission interacts with are Apple's own system frameworks (SwiftData for storage, AVFoundation for audio, ActivityKit for Lock Screen activities, WidgetKit for the Home Screen widget) — all of which run locally on your device.

Is my purchase information collected?

Secret Mission is a one-time purchase through the App Store. Apple handles your payment — we never see your payment details. We do not receive your Apple ID or any identifying information from Apple about who purchased the app.

Parental controls

Secret Mission requires a 4-digit PIN to access parent settings, edit agent profiles, export dossiers, or change configuration. This PIN is stored securely in your device's Keychain and is never transmitted anywhere.

Children's privacy (COPPA)

The U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) regulates the collection of personal information from children under 13 by online services. Secret Mission is not an online service — it collects no information from anyone, children or adults — so COPPA's data collection provisions do not apply. We have designed Secret Mission this way deliberately.

Changes to this policy

If this privacy policy changes in a future version of Secret Mission, the updated policy will appear here and the "Last updated" date above will change. Because Secret Mission is fully offline, policy changes only take effect when you update the app — we cannot change it remotely.
